Insanity

Yep, 9am is really too early for lectures...or being awake. Seems I.S. (University Information Services) has spontaneously combusted, with neither the lecture theatre PC nor parts of the network functioning. As you may have already gathered, I did make it to my 9am. Currently very tempted by the new Costa coffee that's opened in upper Bangor (30 seconds from our house), wonder if there are comfy chairs...hmm.
Spent some more time on Storm, sorting everything so it can go online. Only things that are holding me back now are I.S. messing up my file permissions on the vhost, and most presenters not sending me a profile description or photo.

Otherwise thats been about it for today, been listening to 'Jay-Z & Linkin Park - Encore' a lot today, which has got me in a good enough mood to turn up to my 3pm Databases lecture. Ok, thats a lie, I'll never be in the mood, but I can always fall asleep, or doodle, or something...right?

Just enough time to download some music before I head down into lower Bangor.

Oh. By the way, its freezing here.

Back

After a long journey (by train in the end, for reasons I will go into) I'm finally back in Bangor. Was an ok journey, had to listen to some townies nattering on about stealing stuff and various wholesome townie pasttimes for a couple of hours (whilst they were getting pissed from Stella and whiskey). Also ended up chatting to a girl on the Crewe-Bangor section of the journey, seemed nice, was in her first year, Psychology at Bangor, so had a chat about impressions of Bangor and stuff. Matt very kindly gave both myself and her a lift from the station, which was very good as I was planning to walk and my bergen was packed with textbooks and clothes.
Anyway...in case you were wondering, I left my car behind as I dont really have a good place to park it here, and hardly use it, so thought there was little point driving it all the way back up and leaving it to get the wingmirror knocked off again.

Right. Best be off to bed, gotta be up at 8:30am tomorrow. Night :s
